Beginning her career as a medical secretary, Chaya worked in a Toronto-based teaching hospital as part of the administrative staff, performing fundamental office tasks including data entry.
Upon her move to Israel, Chaya landed a coveted position at the Jerusalem branch of a Fortune 500 firm and stayed there in increasingly responsible positions for almost 6 years.
Thanks to her friendly disposition and zeal for fundamental office skills (especially data entry!) she was promoted to the Human Resources department where she was recognized as a well-respected, responsible and hard-working employee.
For the last two years, Chaya supported the Director of Resource Management at a local nonprofit managing both data entry and transcription responsibilities. Once again, she demonstrated her diversity and ability to work under pressure as she provided both personal and administrative support. Chaya produced newsletters, performed extensive data entry, and disseminated professional donor correspondence.
Chaya presently maintains her own blog (her significant WordPress knowledge is all self-taught!) and embraces the opportunity to write both professionally and personally.
